September 22, Pinghu, Zhejiang — With the arrival of autumn, nearly 200 distinguished guests gathered to mark a significant milestone in FREBANG’s development.
Jiaxing Frebang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. held the grand opening ceremony of its new headquarters, together with the launch ceremony for the national standard project Submicron Ceramic Fiber Felt, at the first-floor event hall of its new headquarters.
Nearly 200 guests from industry and business, government authorities, universities and research institutions, industry associations, investment organizations, and strategic partners gathered to witness this milestone in the development of FREBANG, a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in advanced and innovative technologies.
A new headquarters, the launch of a national standard project, and a gathering connecting industry, academia, research, and investment — on this remarkable day, FREBANG transformed eight years of entrepreneurship and innovation into another milestone in China's pursuit of independent capabilities in advanced nanofiber materials.
01 | Distinguished Guests Gather to Witness a Historic Milestone
The ceremony brought together an exceptional group of distinguished guests, ranging from government officials and leading industry experts to national standardization committee representatives, investment institutions, major industrial enterprises, and strategic partners.
Their presence reflected the growing recognition of FREBANG's technological capabilities and its position within the advanced materials industry.

02 | Opening: Eight Years of Dedication, A New Headquarters as a New Strategic Platform
At 9:58 a.m., the ceremony officially commenced in the first-floor event hall of FREBANG’s new headquarters.
Mr. Zhao Xinglei, Chairman of FREBANG, delivered the opening address.
Having begun his journey as a materials researcher at Donghua University, Mr. Zhao reflected on FREBANG’s eight-year entrepreneurial journey and its transformation from a technology-driven start-up into an industrial enterprise.
He stated:
"The opening of our new headquarters marks an important milestone in FREBANG's transition from entrepreneurship toward large-scale and platform-based development. With the new headquarters as a strategic platform, FREBANG will further strengthen its R&D capabilities and industrial-scale delivery capacity, contributing more to the localization and domestic substitution of advanced functional nanofiber materials."
From renting a 6,000-square-meter facility on Hongxing Road in Pinghu in 2018 to the completion of today's new headquarters on Xinxing 3rd Road, FREBANG has relocated three times over the past eight years.
What changed was not merely the factory location or the address.
Behind these moves lies a journey of continuous innovation and industrialization — one that reflects the broader development of China's nanofiber materials industry from its early stages toward increasingly sophisticated, high-performance applications.
03 | Lion Eye-Dotting Ceremony: Awakening the Lions, Opening a New Chapter
Mr. Zhao Xinglei, Chairman of FREBANG, and Mr. Liu Bo, President of the Zhejiang Hebei Chamber of Commerce, jointly performed the traditional lion eye-dotting ceremony.
As the ceremonial brushes touched the lions’ eyes, drums and gongs resounded throughout the venue and the lions sprang to life.
Deeply rooted in Chinese tradition, the ceremony symbolized prosperity, vitality, and an auspicious beginning for FREBANG’s new headquarters — marking the start of an ambitious new chapter in the company’s development.
04 | Support from Industry and Government for a “Hard-Tech” Enterprise
Mr. Ma Zhanqing, President of the Shanghai Hebei Chamber of Commerce, stated in his address that FREBANG has built its technological foundation around nanofiber materials and established capabilities spanning raw materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
He highlighted FREBANG as an example of the successful integration of university-originated scientific research with industrial commercialization.
Mr. Yan Shengli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Zone, delivered remarks on behalf of the development zone.
He congratulated FREBANG on the opening of its new headquarters and expressed his expectation that the company would continue leveraging its capabilities to support the extension, reinforcement, and upgrading of the regional advanced materials industrial chain.
05 | Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: FREBANG’s New Headquarters Officially Opens
At approximately 10:30 a.m., the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new headquarters was held.
Mr. Chen Zhichao, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Pinghu Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Zone, officially announced:
"FREBANG's new headquarters is now officially open!"
The announcement was met with enthusiastic applause as ceremonial cannons sounded and colorful confetti filled the air against the backdrop of the newly completed headquarters.
The moment marked the beginning of a new stage in FREBANG's development as a technology-driven advanced materials enterprise.
06 | Three Agreements Signed: Connecting Industry, Capital, and Strategic Partnership
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a series of investment and strategic cooperation agreements were signed.
FREBANG entered into agreements with Huajing Investment, AVIC International, Shanghai Hanshang Zhonghui, and other investment and industrial partners, further strengthening collaboration between technology, industry, and capital.

The agreement with AVIC International represents an opportunity for FREBANG’s ceramic thermal-protection materials to become more deeply integrated into China’s aviation industry ecosystem and supply chain.
Through its cooperation with Huajing Investment, the two parties will work together over the next three years toward larger business and market-development goals.
The partnership with Shanghai Hanshang Zhonghui also reflects the strong connections among Hebei entrepreneurs pursuing innovation and business development in the Yangtze River Delta.

07 | Setting the Standard: National Standard Project for Submicron Ceramic Fiber Felt Officially Launched
At 11:15 a.m., the project launch meeting for the national standard Submicron Ceramic Fiber Felt commenced as scheduled, chaired by Mr. Tian Huaide, Secretary-General of the Shandong Membrane Society.
Mr. Zhang Weiru, Chairman of the National Technical Committee on Industrial Ceramics of Standardization Administration, delivered the welcome address.
Mr. Liu Han, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the China Membrane Industry Association; Prof. Zhang Yongming, President of the Shandong Membrane Society; and Ms. Cao Minna, Member of the CPC Committee of the Pinghu Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, subsequently delivered remarks.
Mr. Zhao Xinglei, Chairman of FREBANG, delivered a speech of appreciation.
The lead drafting organization then presented the project’s establishment and current progress, followed by remarks from Mr. Yang Jiguang, General Manager of Jining Poseidon, representing the participating drafting organizations.
The host subsequently announced the official launch of the national standard project:
Submicron Ceramic Fiber Felt
Prior to this national standard project, FREBANG had already taken the lead in developing and publishing the group standard Submicron Ceramic Fiber Thermal Insulation Products.
The group standard systematically defined, for the first time, product classifications, performance requirements, and testing methods for three categories of submicron ceramic fiber thermal insulation products: thermal insulation felt, thermal insulation paper, and thermal insulation board.
The initiation of the national standard project represents recognition of the practical achievements accumulated through the group standard and marks another step toward standardized development of this strategic advanced-material sector at the national level.
As Chairman Zhao Xinglei stated:
"We want Chinese standards to help define what high-end thermal-protection materials should be, and we want the world to see that China is capable of manufacturing core materials and contributing leading standards to the global industry."
08 | Industrial Strength: The Production Ambition Behind a RMB 207 Million Investment
FREBANG's new headquarters represents a total investment of RMB 207 million, covering approximately 23 mu (about 15,300 m²) of land with a total building area of approximately 56,000 m².
Once full-scale production is achieved, the facility is designed to support annual production capacity of:
110 million m² of high-end nanofiber membrane materials,7.5 million m² of thermal insulation materials, and720,000 filter elements.
The new headquarters is more than an office building. It is an advanced industrialization base integrating R&D, manufacturing, engineering, and large-scale production.
FREBANG has also established China’s first continuous production line for flexible ceramic fibers with an annual capacity of 500 metric tons.
Its “Tianyixundun” high-temperature thermal-protection material has achieved temperature resistance exceeding 1,400°C and successfully passed authoritative testing at 1,500°C, contributing to the development of domestically produced high-performance thermal-protection materials for demanding aerospace applications.
FREBANG’s project, “Key Technologies and Applications for the Industrialization of Flexible/Elastic Ceramic Ultrafine Fiber Materials,” received the First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award.
In the semiconductor sector, AI-enabled energy-efficient nanofiber FFU solutions are being applied in semiconductor, optics, and other advanced manufacturing environments.
In the new-energy sector, ceramic nanofiber thermal-insulation materials are being introduced into battery thermal-runaway protection systems.
Across aerospace and defense applications, submicron ceramic fiber felt is being applied in demanding thermal-protection scenarios involving helicopters, fighter aircraft, missiles, commercial launch vehicles, and other advanced equipment.
With the new headquarters now operational, FREBANG aims to build a leading nanofiber industrial cluster in China while strengthening critical links in the regional high-performance advanced materials value chain.
09 | A New Journey: Technology Industrialization → Industry Standardization → Global Standardization
A new headquarters begins its journey, strengthened by a new national standard initiative.
Standing at this new starting point, FREBANG will continue to focus on advanced functional nanofiber materials while working closely with partners throughout the upstream and downstream industrial value chain.
